Chase was born in Morganton, North Carolina. He earned degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He started his career in healthcare as a neurodiagnostic respiratory therapist at Duke University Health. He earned the degree of Masters of Health Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University School of Medicine. Chase has more than 10 years of medical experience treating patients in pediatric neurosurgery, emergency medicine, family medicine and pediatrics. Family medicine is his favorite area of practice with a passion for pediatrics, birth to teen.

Ashley is from Summerfield. She graduated from Furman University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology followed by a Masters of Health Science and Physician Assistant Degree from Duke University. Ashley has experience in emergency medicine, hematology and oncology along with her current primary focus of family medicine and her patients are like extended family. Ashley has a passion for overall health and wellness prevention.

Jennah is originally from New Hampshire but has called North Carolina home for many years. She graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Texas Woman’s University. She brings over 18 years of diverse medical experience, including pediatrics, women’s health, preoperative and postoperative care, and most recently, a focus on family medicine. Her passion lies in empowering patients and their families to take charge of their health, guiding them through their care journey with confidence. She believes in a holistic approach to medicine that addresses not just physical health, but also mental and spiritual well-being. She has a heart for individuals of all ages across the lifespan but holds a special place in her heart for pediatric patients.
Our Team cares, and it shows through the treatment of our patients. At NewHope you are more than a number, you are like family.

Heather Locklear is a native to the Triad. She has earned an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from ECPI. Her healthcare career started in Urgent Care and she discovered a passion for Pediatrics. She met Chase Michaels during her 9 year tenure at Forsyth Pediatrics and is proud to continue with him on the NewHope team. Heather and her husband are blessed with a daughter as well as a niece and nephew that they hold close to their hearts. They love the summertime and being in the pool and anything that includes being with family.

Mandy Moore grew up in Greensboro and graduated from Smith High School. She earned an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting from GTCC. Her healthcare career started in Pediatrics where she dedicated 15 years helping families. Mandy says God has a way of placing people in your life so you can strive to become a better person, and for her that person was Ashley Michaels. Ashley believed in her and provided an opportunity to pursue her passion of helping patients again. Mandy has been married for 10 years, has 3 children and 2 dogs. She loves being outside with her family. Mandy’s a member at Reedy Fork Community Church.

Wendy Baker has roots to the Triad community; it’s been home for her entire life. She’s a daughter of preacher and a teacher. Graduate from Gospel Light Christian School. Mrs. Baker has been married for 15 years and has 2 boys. She’s made a career serving others and started her medical career as a receptionist. She’s a strong and natural relationship builder who always strives for excellence. Wendy is the Financial Secretary of Liberty Baptist Church and enjoys working with the youth and GriefShare ministries. She loves spending time outdoors, hiking, and swimming with her family.

Ashley Douglas grew up in Kernersville and graduated from East Forsyth High School. She earned an Associate’s degree at GTCC in Office Technology. Ashley has worked in Neurology healthcare for fifteen years. She’s an expert in healthcare insurance, processing authorizations and referrals. Ashley and her husband have been married for 18 years and have one son. She loves spending time outdoors, listening to live music, & reading. The mountains are one of her favorite places to visit. She is a member of Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville.

Chelsea Lilly grew up in Stokesdale and graduated from Bethany Community School. She earned an Associate degree in Health Science at ECPI University. Her healthcare career started in geriatrics when she realized she wanted to work with all walks of life. She grew up with Heather Locklear and found her passion for the medical field. She is blessed to call NewHope her home as they believed in her. Chelsea is a member at NewHope Baptist church in Walnut Cove.
